Lorraine Young, Naturopathic Practitioner

Thank you for considering Naturopathic wellness and how it may benefit you. Naturopathic wellness embodies Lorraine's beliefs about healing and health.   After graduating from Acadia University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 1996, she pursued her education and graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in 2000.

Lorraine is an active member of NCANP and holds license in Vermont and British Columbia. Prior to moving to Raleigh, she had a thriving practice in Nova Scotia. While consulting in Nova Scotia, Lorraine was active in the community having 2 offices and serving as a Board Member on the Colchester Sexual Assault Center.  Lorraine now owns and operates Nova Naturopathic LLC, in Raleigh NC. She also serves on the Executive Committee at the Naturopathic Medicine Institute and is also working towards obtaining her Diplomate Specialty Certification (DHANP) from the Homeopathic Academy of Naturopathic Physicians (HANP).

Lorraine enjoys being with family, running in the woods, watching her boys play hockey, experimenting in the kitchen and clicking photos.  During the past 8 years Lorraine took running to another level, breaking several North Carolina State course records in a variety of distances in the Master’s Division, winning some marathons and placing second in her first 50 mile Ultra running race.
